Established in 1983 as the Australian Packaging Machinery Association and incorporated in 1990, changed its name to the Australian Packaging and Processing Machinery Association in 2010. Association Members offer a range of benefits and services to the packaging and processing machinery industry by working for the best interests of their customers.
The Australian Packaging and Processing Machinery Association is the only national organisation to represent the packaging and processing machinery industry, Members include manufacturers and importers who are major suppliers to the food, beverage, cosmetic, pharmaceutical, veterinary and household packaging industries.
The Association is proud to be a Foundation Member of the world packaging machinery body, the Confederation of Packaging Machinery Associations (COPAMA) which provides a forum for15 national packaging and processing trade associations, in its dealings with matters of mutual concern and interest within the industry.

AUSPACK PLUS 2013 - Australia's International Exhibition of Packaging and Processing Machinery, Materials and Associated Technology returns to Sydney from Tuesday 7th to Friday 10th of May, 2013 at Sydney Showground, Sydney Olympic Park.
AUSPACK PLUS 2013 is a four day tradeshow that brings together buyers and sellers who provide products and services integral to delivering complete production line solutions for packaging and processing industries in the Australasian region. Become a part of it and participate in developing this premier Australasian exhibition into the leading multi-platform event for the packaging and processing industries.
After AUSPACK PLUS 2011 an extensive survey was distributed to both visitors and exhibitors to determine how we could deliver an even more diverse and successful exhibition in 2013 to the packaging and processing industries.
The results of the survey have guided our objectives for the Sydney show. One of the key findings was to focus on welcoming the materials side of the industry to both exhibit and attend AUSPACK PLUS 2013. Materials refers to all elements from film to plastics, through to components and ancillaries of packaging and processing machinery. This is a side of the industry that is sometimes overlooked and yet is critical to the success of production lines. The majority of visitors to AUSPACK PLUS not only purchase equipment, but are also the same people who buy the materials and components.
Our focus and commitment to continue to develop AUSPACK PLUS in 2013, will be demonstrated by incorporating a multi-platform showcase of materials and production component solutions, all under the one roof, alongside packaging, filling and processing machinery.
In 2011, 35% of attendees indicated that they specifically attend AUSPACK PLUS to look for new products. Therefore, we are actively encouraging all of our exhibitors to focus on promoting their new technologies, products and innovations as a key driver to attract visitors to their exhibition stands. In addition, visitors indicated that they attend AUSPACK PLUS to compare existing suppliers with their competitors to determine what is available in the industry. For companies considering having a presence in 2013, this is definitely something to keep in mind.
